Dixie could have died from meningitis at tender age of 8 mos. Urged gently to think about putting her down, we cried & held her for 20 min. & just couldn't do it. So we pleaded, "Please, just try something, anything first." Thanks to Neurologist Vet Dr. Ruellman trying multiple meds including prednisone, she recovered ..but she now had no immune system & must stay on pred....which in turn made this young dog susceptible to demodectic mange. She got a bad case 3 mos. later, including all 4 feet. She looked pitiful. Thanks to Dermatology Vet, Dr.. Reeder in Louisville, KY, Dixie got her hair back & is stunningly beautiful again!!!..., she even finished her AKC Conformation Championship! She loves the staff at the clinic. They are very kind to her & seem surpried she's so trust
