Winston is a very special boy. He came into our lives when he was just 1 year old from a friend who had to give him up after a divorce. It was love at first sight. Winston has had allergy problems from the time he was 3 years old requiring a total ear canal ablation at age 6 and subsequent re-operation 2 years later upon moving to another state (Indiana). During this time, he somehow ruptured a disc in his neck which partially temporarily paralyzed him which required neurosurgery to remove the disc and spare his spinal cord. After rehab and much love he is able to walk with little deficit and enjoying life to its fullest. This picture was actually taken at the Animal Dermatology office here in Indianapolis for his file.
