Sweet Boy was a rescue kitty who had been living half wild for 5 years when I adopted him......but never, ever was there a more kind or gentle soul around me and my children. (But not so gentle with mice, chipmunks, baby opposums, etc!) He was our heart!! We lost him this past month to a neighbors dog...who jumped a fence and GOT INSIDE MY HOUSE ( my door was open).... and mauled him to death in my kitchen where he had been cornered. What makes him so special was his ability to love and show such gentleness even after so many years living in the woods. He was a Sweet Boy for sure.
