JJ is a hound dog who responds at his own pace and in ways that aren't obvious. But when I fell and couldn't get up he ran from the house to the yard trying his hardest to lift me up, lick my face (for breathing?) and just howled and barked until I was able to get up. He is a loving dog who loves me. And I him.
