• Colleen Mendelsohn, DVM, Diplomate ACVD, Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist
Dr. Colleen Mendelsohn is a 1997 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and received Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2004.
After graduation from UC Davis, Dr. Mendelsohn completed an internship with the Animal Emergency Clinic and Animal Specialty Group in San Diego. She later practiced general medicine before starting her residency with the Animal Dermatology Clinic in 2000. Her love and appreciation of the human-animal bond is what drew Dr. Mendelsohn to this specialty. In her words, "The conditions we treat often require good long term relationships with patients and owners, which affords me the opportunity to be part of that special relationship that develops between humans and pets."
Another opportunity that Dr. Mendelsohn enjoys is the training of veterinary students, helping these students appreciate the hidden complexities of dermatologic disease.
• Megan Frazer, DVM, Diplomate ACVD, Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist
Dr. Megan Frazer is a native of southern California where she completed her undergraduate training. She was part of the charter veterinary class at Western University of Health Sciences. She then completed a small animal internship followed by a residency in dermatology. She completed her residency and achieved Diplomate status in 2011. Dr. Frazer joined Animal Dermatology Clinic in 2012.
Dr. Frazer's first dog growing up was a cockapoo with chronic ear infections. This introduced her to the challenges of veterinary dermatology. Her love of dermatology grew throughout veterinary school. She currently has two dogs, both with chronic allergies that she is managing. In her free time she enjoys reading and traveling.

• Katlyn Lake, DVM, Resident
Dr. Lake grew up in a military family, living in California, Germany, Virginia, and ultimately settling in Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech. She then attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017. Following graduation, Dr. Lake completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship in Monterey, CA and a dermatology specialty internship outside of Philadelphia, PA. Following her year in Pennsylvania, Dr. Lake accepted a dermatology residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic.
In Dr. Lake’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, camping, traveling, playing volleyball, and trying unique food. She also has a young pug, Thea, who is the newest addition to her family.
