• John Angus, DVM, Diplomate ACVD, Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist
Dr. Angus graduated from University of California Davis in 1994. After obtaining his degree in Veterinary Medicine, he worked in a private small animal and emergency practice for five years. Dr. Angus completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Illinois and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2003. He remained at the University as a visiting clinical professor until 2004, where he received recognition as a teacher of excellence.

Dr. Angus joined Animal Dermatology Clinic in 2007 and leads a team of four veterinary dermatologists and supporting staff at ADC Pasadena, CA and also holds a position as an active member of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Angus has contributed many journal articles, veterinary textbooks, and is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences. He currently serves as a member of the ACVD Education Committee and is on the editorial boards for the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association and Veterinary Dermatology, the official journal of the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology.

• Charli Dong, DVM, Diplomate ACVD, Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist
Dr. Charli Dong earned her degree in veterinary medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in 2012. She then completed a rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center.

In 2013, Dr. Dong accepted a residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic and obtained Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in November 2016. Dr. Dong was the recipient of the Peter J. Ihrke Resident Research Award in Clinical Science. She has a special interest in dermoscopy and video-otoscopy.

During her free time, Dr. Dong enjoys going on adventures with her husband and two dogs, Rosie and Brodie.

• Trenton Ewing, DVM, Resident
 Dr. Ewing grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2012. He stayed in Ames, Iowa for his veterinary studies and graduated from Iowa State University's college of veterinary medicine in 2016. Following graduation he completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at IndyVet Emergency & Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. Eager to pursue a career in dermatology, Dr. Ewing's next move was to Champaign-Urbana for a specialty internship in dermatology at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Following his year in Illinois, Dr. Ewing started his dermatology residency at Animal Dermatology Clinic in Pasadena.

In his free time Dr. Ewing likes spending time with his dog, two cats, and his wife, Molly. They both enjoy spending time in nature, traveling, reading, and practicing the martial art judo.

• Kelsey Milich, DVM, Resident
Dr. Kelsey Milich was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012 with a degree in Biology and Economics. She then returned to California to attend Western University College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated with honors in 2016. Following graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Initially pursuing a career in veterinary surgery, she went on to complete a specialty internship in small animal surgery in Dallas, Texas.

After rediscovering a love for dermatology, Dr. Milich returned to the Los Angeles area for a dermatology specialty internship at Animal Dermatology Clinic Pasadena, and subsequently accepted a residency position.

In her free time, she enjoys waterskiing and wakeboarding, water polo, and hiking with her very energetic black lab, Bullet, a retired military working dog.
