• Joya Griffin, DVM, Diplomate ACVD, Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist
Dr. Joya Griffin is an Ohio native who graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. While attending Cornell, she was awarded numerous scholarships including the Dermatology Service Award for her aptitude in clinical dermatology and her research on malassezia otitis externa. After graduating, she completed an internship at VCA Berwyn and Aurora Animal Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois. During her internship year, she was awarded the intern "Abstract Award" for her presentation on Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus. Dr. Griffin returned to Cornell University in 2007 for a residency in Dermatology. After completing her residency-training program, Dr. Griffin served one year as an instructor of dermatology, and had the privilege of teaching fourth-year clinical students as well as lecturing to underclassmen on bacterial, fungal, and immune-mediated skin diseases. Dr. Griffin has a special interest in fungal and immune-mediated skin disease as well as feline dermatology. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2010.
Outside of work, Dr. Griffin enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She loves travelling, cooking and working out. She is a self-proclaimed small dog and cat lover and is excited to be practicing in an area closer to her family.

• Jeffrey Tinsley Jr., DVM, Dermatology Associate
Dr. Jeff Tinsley is originally from Atlanta, GA. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biological Science from the University of Georgia and his degree in veterinary medicine from Tuskegee University. Following veterinary school, he completed a rotating internship at Blue Pearl San Antonio and spent one year in general practice in San Antonio before beginning his dermatology internship at Animal Dermatology Clinic. Beyond dermatology, his biggest passions are connecting with clients, outstanding medical care, and being an advocate for his patients. In his spare time, he loves taking his dog "Renly" to the park, cooking, crossfit, and trying out local breweries and eateries.
