• Helen Orbell, BSc, BVSc, MANZCVS (small animal medicine)
Dr. Helen Orbell graduated from The University of Queensland with BVSc in 2001 and worked in various mixed practices in New Zealand, England and Scotland before starting in the companion animal clinic at Massey University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Palmerston North, New Zealand, in 2005. She traveled to the US for a year in 2007 and worked in Community Practice at Washington State University VTH, Pullman.
Dr. Orbell returned to Australia and worked in small animal practice for 2 years. In 2011, she returned to New Zealand to work again at Massey University VTH where she has been for the past 5 years. Her interest in dermatology grew steadily over the past 7 years which led to a residency position in 2016 with Animal Dermatology Clinic.
Dr. Orbell will be seeing cases at ADC's clinics in Auckland, Massey University in Palmerston North campus and Sydney University, Australia.
Outside of work, Dr. Orbell enjoys making the most of the rural lifestyle and environment with her family including a very active Vizsla and three cats. She also enjoys trying to be creative, reading and gardening.
