Cassie is a 6 1/2 year old German Shepard. She was referred to Animal Dermatology Clinic for crusting on the nasal planum, muzzle, periocular region and paw pads. Her condition started as a dry nasal planum, then it began to crack. Then it became severe soon affecting her paws, muzzle and periocular regions, although she was eating and acting well.
